Let me share some of the journey I have been on in the 10 plus years I have been retired from teaching. I have encountered interesting health information and experiences for myself, my extended family and an ever increasing circle of friends.
Useful information is available to all of us more than ever as well as being reported in scientific research. My search began with computer searches for studies connecting fungus and cancer. The information was mind boggling, connecting the two in ways that had never been done before. Now this interest has expanded to a much larger piece of the health pie.
On this journey I met Barb and Frank Long. I treasure this friendship. They are dedicated to making alternative products available. This is an answer to the plaintive cry from people who want to find safe, reputable, effective products.
An interesting report came across my desk this week... the Mercola website reported on an article from the April 2008 Harvard Health Letter "7 Ills That Don't Need Pills."
The list includes arthritis, cholesterol, cognitive decline, depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, and osteoporosis. Suggestions for improving all of them emphasize a diet which cuts down on sugar and grains and increases vegetables. Omega 3 is almost a universal recommendation, as is exercise. Relatively new is the recommendation of sunlight. Heavy metals are to be avoided and the common sources are tooth fillings, cooking pots, antiperspirants and vaccinations.
The hope of this reference is that you will see the need to pursue further knowledge through the computer; respected, qualified TV personalities; and libraries and health care professionals. Creditable sources are telling us that we can take charge of our own health.
I use many products from this company in my desire to live healthy:
