Romans 12:3 says that God gave the measure of faith to every man. So, we can't say we have no faith. It is in us. And we know that the Word say He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him; not those who are acquaintances. The Word was given that we might know Him. You and I know that the enemy is out to destroy believers and to blind them from victory that belongs to them. So he brings situations and circumstances that are devastating to us. In fact, lots of them put us in a place where we throw up our hands and say "It is out of my control. There is nothing I can do about this." However, the Bible says in Is. 55:11 "So shall MY Word be, that goeth forth out of MY mouth, it shall not return unto me void; it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Also Ps. 119:89 says "Forever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in the heavens." This is the Word and we can't change it. There is nothing we can do about that. We have faith and the devil can't hinder real faith. It has been given to us according to the Word. There is nothing we can do about it. MT. 21:22 says, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Someplace in our walk with the Lord, we must resign ourselves to the Word that has gone out of His mouth. It is out of our control. When Israel left Egypt and Pharaoh was chasing them, they were so afraid and felt like they should never have left their place of safe bondage. They had no idea how hard things would get. As they stood with the army chasing from behind and the Red Sea in front, with no where to go, they felt defeat and despair and fear all at once. They went to tents discouraged, and all that night the east wind blew and blew. It blew. Tents shook. Sand came through gaps. But you know, when the storm comes we need to get shut in. Don't look at the situation, and you can focus on where God brought you from. In those tents, something was happening. The Wind of the Spirit brought them faith. It was rising up. Fear was being cast down. When they stepped out of tents next morning, Faith said I CAN. God had spoken. There was nothing they could do about it. Then they saw it. God had created a street in the middle of the sea; dry ground to walk on. The God of all creation is not subject to the law of nature. When needed, He will dispense with it. God makes a way, where there is no way. His faithfulness is boundless. His Word says, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. It is out of my control. There is nothing I can do about it. If I pray for you to be healed, the Word says, By His stripes you were healed---That settles it. There is nothing I can do but watch you receive it. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. ISN'T OUR GOD OH SO GLORIOUS. I will be praying for you, Pastor Judy |
